Day 6- A Song That Reminds You of Somewhere.
My first apt./house in Denton with Mikey 2000. I took over the room from Jacob Barnhart (from Little Grizzly) and we lived down the block from Will Johnson before he moved to Austin.
We had several bands there- but the one that actually played ANYWHERE was More Stately Mansions and we played with Fishboy a few times around Denton and once somewhere in... Flower Mound?
Anyway the house had french doors and someone before had painted the windows red and purple. We left a gallon of milk on the side porch for over six months and we never knew what happened to it. We kept our mail in the oven because it didn't work. Pretty much just any place in Denton in the early 00's.
We listened to this song constantly on repeat.
